1. CALL TO ORDER: Bartz called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

3. APPROVE MEETING MINUTES: July 22, 2019

7. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Parks and Recreation Department Happenings — Director Schultz updated the Commissioner's
on various happenings within the department including playground replacements, Family Resource Center
expansion, Carroll's Woods/Schwarz Pond Park restoration, Flint Hills Athletic Complex, and a potential
Community Rec Center.
b. Director's Report
Park Improvement Fund Balance as of July 31, 2019: $1,440,248.57
Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows:
Dedication fees — $0
Grants/Other - $0
Interest - $1905.69
Donations - $0
Expenditures - $6,825.37 (Horseshoe Lake Park architect fees, UMore Dugouts)
8. ADJOURNMENT - MOTION by Farrell to adjourn the meeting. SECOND by Young.
Ayes: 7 Nays: 0 Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
