Fall energy tips presentation

Join Stacy Boots Camp, from the Center for Energy and Environment
(and a Rosemount resident!) for a lively discussion on easy energy
efficiency opportunities at home. This is a great time of year to start
preparing for cold weather ahead. Stacy will explain how home energy
audits can make those winter months more comfortable and energy
efficient. She’ll share some terrific ideas for making your home more
comfortable, more energy efficient and less expensive to keep it that
way. Stacy will have information on all of the energy audit options that
are available in Rosemount. A suggestion: Double check on who your
energy providers are before you attend. Stacy will be happy to help
you make arrangements for the right programs based on your energy
provider.

Demonstration. Other Activities Include Vehicle Fire Training Prop,

Haunted Woods Trail
October 26, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Central Park
This year’s celebration will provide a fun-filled evening for preschool
through middle-school aged youth. The trail will begin at the Park and
Ride parking lot on Highway 3 (South Robert Trail), wind its way
through Central Park, and exit on 145th Street West. Area volunteers
will pass out candy; donations will be accepted at the trail entrance. Be
sure to wear your Halloween costume and dress appropriately for the
weather. In case of weather concerns, check the Activities Line: (651)
322-6020 option #6. No pets are allowed on the Halloween Trail.

Pumpkin recycling

Are you wondering what to do with your Jack- o-Lantern after
Halloween? Once again this fall, Rosemount will be holding a pumpkin
collection event. Since all of the pumpkins collected will be composted,
we cannot accept painted pumpkins and we ask that you remove as
much of the candle wax as you can from the inside.

School district election

The City of Rosemount does not have an election scheduled in 2019;
however, Independent School District 196 will hold an election on
November 5 for several school board seats and to ask for voter
approval of a levy increase. Some of the voting locations are different
from the ones that the City uses.

Veterans Day Service of Recognition

recognition that will include music, refreshments, messages and
individual certificate presentations. Veterans, their families, and
members of the general public are all invited to attend. Those wishing
