BACKGROUND
Dr. Meredith Holgerson, Assistant Professor of Biology and Environmental Studies at St. Olaf
College in Northfield, MN along with some of her students will be presenting the results of
research that they performed over the summer. Their research covered 11 ponds in
Rosemount and Eagan. They looked at various data including water chemistry, food web
structure, plant communities and mixing patterns along with various other information. As
part of the presentation there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.
