AGENDA SECTION: Consent PREPARED BY: Dan Schultz, Parks and Recreation Director AGENDA NO. 6.l. ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: LJM RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to declare the item listed in the executive summary as surplus property and for staff to try to sell the equipment or appropriately dispose of the items. ISSUE The 2020 CIP Budget includes funding for new scoreboards in the Rosemount Arena. To get the process started for replacing the score boards, Parks and Recreation Department staff are asking that the City Council declare the current two scoreboards as surplus property. The existing scoreboards are the original units that were added to the arena when the building was built in 1993/1994. The boards have outlived their useful life and are in need of replacement. By declaring the scoreboards as surplus property, it will authorize staff to sell, recycle, or appropriately dispose of the equipment. The item listed below should be declared as surplus equipment: Scoreboard 1 Fixed Asset Tag #000869 Scoreboard 2 Fixed Asset Tag #960041
