BACKGROUND
As the Commission is aware, staff has been working with representatives from Ron Clark Construction to
redevelop the KenRose and Shenanigans properties. A pre-development meeting occurred with the City
and Ron Clark on December 4, 2019. Ron Clark will be submitting their application on Monday,
December 16, 2019, to start the formal planning review process. The Planning Commission is scheduled
to hold the public hearing on January 14, 2020. Staff will provide the submittal for the Port Authority as an
informational item, with no formal action needed at this time.
As discussed previously, in the next few months the Port Authority will be asked to approve the planning
project, the TIF District Plan, and the Development Contract for this redevelopment project.
