RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Resolution to Accept Well House 16, City Project
416 and Authorize Final Payment
BACKGROUND
On October 3, 2017, City Council awarded the construction contract for Well House #16 to Rice Lake
Construction Group (RLCG). During construction there were 3 change order approved in order to
complete the necessary work. There is also one deductive work order for city performed repairs. The
following table shows the original contract and change orders for the final project.
RLCG has provided all necessary close-out paperwork including the required maintenance bond, consent
of surety and withholding affidavits. Should Council approve the final payment of retention in the amount
of $9,805.09, this project can be close out.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends Council approval of the attached resolution in order to close out construction of Well
House 16, City Project 416.

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WELL HOUSE, CITY PROJECT 416
WHEREAS, the contractor has submitted documentation for City acceptance of Well House 16, and;
WHEREAS, the City received a letter from WSB & Associates, Inc. confirming the contract work has
been completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota. The work completed
under said agreement is hereby accepted.
ADOPTED this 18th day of February, 2020.
