Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows:

Big Dance - The Parks and Recreation Department once again hosted the annual Daddy and Daughter
Dance in the Banquet Hall of the Community Center. 135 couples made many wonderful memories while
dancing to upbeat music, participating in fun activities, creating crafts and enjoying a special visit by
Elsa. A professional photographer was on hand to print the couple's photos onsite to take home to
remember this special evening.
Beach Party - There was a tropical atmosphere at the Community Center this past Friday for the Leap
Year Luau, attended by 100 seniors from across Dakota County. The event included fun and interactive
entertainment, music, wonderful food and treats, a photo booth, prizes and more. This special event was
hosted by the communities of Rosemount, Burnsville, Lakeville, Farmington, Apple Valley, Eagan, and
South St. Paul.
