RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:
Motion to fill Commission vacancies with the following appointments:
• Andrea Schaap for a 3-year term on the Parks and Recreation Commission;
• James Bonkoski for a 3-year term on the Parks and Recreation Commission;
• John DeBettignies for a 3-year term on the Parks and Recreation Commission;
• Chris Hondl for a 2-year term on the Utilities Commission;
• Scott Zuehlke for a 3-year term on the Utilities Commission;
• Vanessa Demuth reappoint for a 3-year term on the Utilities Commission;
• Brent Marlow for a 3-year term on the Planning Commission;
• Melissa Kenninger reappoint for a 3-year term on the Planning Commission;
• Kim Ciresi for a 3-year term Environmental & Sustainable Commission
• Kristen Andrews for a 3-year term Environmental & Sustainable Commission
BACKGROUND
Each year the City Council appoints commissioners to various city boards. This year, the following
positions were open for appointment; three seats on the Parks and Recreation Commission, three seats on
the Utility Commission (staff proposes to change this from three seats to five seats), two seats on the
Planning Commission, and two seats on Environment & Sustainability Commission.
Staff will bring to a future council meeting an updated Utility Commission ordinance reflecting the two
seats to be added.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of above motion.
