RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to Adopt a Resolution Approving the Vacation of the Drainage and Utility Easement
over Outlot A, Prestwick Place 19th Addition.
SUMMARY
With the approval of the Final Plat for Prestwick Place 19th Addition, a blanket drainage and utility
easement was dedicated over the final phase of development within the Prestwick Place 13th Addition
Planned Unit Development. To accommodate the development of Prestwick Place 20th Addition, a
vacation of the drainage and utility easement over Outlot A, Prestwick Place 19th Addition is necessary.
This action is typical when there are multi-phased developments in a larger preliminary plat. Appropriate
new drainage and utility easements will be recorded with the Prestwick Place 20th Addition final plat.
Approval of the final plat if located elsewhere on the April 21, agenda.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending approval of the vacation of drainage and utility easements over Outlot A, Prestwick
Place 19th Addition, subject to the recording of the final plat of Prestwick Place 20th Addition.

RESOLUTION 2020-XX
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENT OVER OUTLOT A, PRESTWICK PLACE 19TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount received an application from Prestwick, LLC, 350 Highway 7, Suite
125, Excelsior, MN (Applicant) for the Final Plat of Prestwick Place 20th Addition;
WHEREAS, on April 21st, 2020, the City of Rosemount City Council reviewed and approved the Final Plat
for Prestwick Place 20th Addition; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of the existing drainage and utility easements legally described below is required
before the Final Plat can be recorded for Prestwick Place 20th Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed this request and conducted a public hearing on April 21, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Rosemount hereby approves the
Vacation of the Drainage and Utility Easements, legally described as:
All drainage and utility easements lying over, under, and across OUTLOT A, PRESTWICK PLACE
19TH ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Dakota County, Minnesota.
subject to the recording of the Final Plat of Prestwick Place 20th Addition.
ADOPTED this 21st day of April 2020, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
