Arbor Day celebration and tree giveaway.
June 6, 2020, 10:00 AM -10:30 AM
Join us as we observe the 28th Annual Rosemount Arbor Day. We will
recognize the importance of Arbor Day with a brief program hosted by
Mayor Droste. We will also be giving away trees from six to eight feet
in height to residents of Rosemount. There will be a variety of tree
species available. The first 180 residents of Rosemount who have
proof of residency will receive a tree. Due to limited quantity, there is a
limit of one tree per household. Please note: Due to the sensitive
nature of bare root trees, they will need to be planted within 24 hours
of the giveaway. Remember to: Call "Gopher State One Call" 72 hours
in advance at (651) 454-0002 before you dig. Plan Before you Plant,
watching for overhead powerlines. More information can be obtained
from Dakota Electric at (651) 463-6212.
