RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to receive gift card donation from the Crosscroft of
Evermoor neighborhood.
BACKGROUND
The Council is asked to approve 50 gift card donations in the amount of $15.00/each and one gift card in
the amount of $50.00 to be passed out to firefighters at a later meeting date. On July 19, 2020, Fire Chief
Schroeder and Assistant Chief Voelker met with representatives Karen Krause and Sharon Holeman from
the Crosscroft of Evermoor neighborhood. They presented them with the gift cards as a sign of
appreciation for all that they have done the past few months during these challenging times of uncertainty.
The gift cards are as follows to local businesses:
•Culver’s (17) @ $15.00/each
•Jersey Mikes (16) @ $15.00/each
•Morning Glory Bakery (17) @ $15.00/each
•House of Curry gift certificate for $50.00
The gift cards will be distributed to Rosemount Firefighters upon final approval of the council.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Council accept the above donation and distribution.
