BACKGROUND
Staff took part in the 2020 Industrial Summit hosted by the Minneapolis Real Estate Journal on November
13th. Topics included the 2020 market overview, emerging tenant needs, redevelopment opportunities and
financing development. Community Development Director Kim Lindquist was on the “Working with Local
Government to Build Lasting Product” discussion panel.
The summit was a hybrid in-person and virtual event. Past summits had about 100 in person attendees and
350 virtual attendees. Staff created an ad for the event, which was featured both virtually and in print.
Rosemount branding was featured on the market materials and promotional items. Also included is the
short powerpoint given during the 5 minutes allocated to panelists to introduce their community.
