ATTACHMENTS: Rosemount Land Ad, Industrial Summit Presentation APPROVED BY: LJM RECOMMENDED ACTION: Information Item BACKGROUND Staff took part in the 2020 Industrial Summit hosted by the Minneapolis Real Estate Journal on November 13th. Topics included the 2020 market overview, emerging tenant needs, redevelopment opportunities and financing development. Community Development Director Kim Lindquist was on the “Working with Local Government to Build Lasting Product” discussion panel. The summit was a hybrid in-person and virtual event. Past summits had about 100 in person attendees and 350 virtual attendees. Staff created an ad for the event, which was featured both virtually and in print. Rosemount branding was featured on the market materials and promotional items. Also included is the short powerpoint given during the 5 minutes allocated to panelists to introduce their community.
