Pumpkin Composting - Our annual Halloween Pumpkin Collection took place over the November 6-8
weekend. Collection bins were located at the north end of the Central Park parking lot and people could
drop off their pumpkins and Jack-O-Lanterns any time over the weekend. This fun and easy -to -provide
program gets more popular each year. The pumpkins collected will be composted.

Scarecrow Contest - Congratulations to all those who participated in the Rosemount Parks and
Recreation Vt Annual Scarecrow Contest. After much deliberation from the judges due to so many fun
and unique entries, those that ended up claiming the top 3 places were built by the Thomas Family, Long
Family and Klink Family. These 3 entries will receive a gift card from Pellicci Hardware.
We also put all entries in for a random drawing for a gift card from Emerald Roots Salon and the winner
of that drawing was the Robinson Family.
