SPECIAL MEETING PROCEEDINGS
NOVEMBER 13, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held
on Tuesday, June 23, at 5:00 pm in Rosemount Council Chambers 2875 145th Street West.
Mayor Droste called the meeting to order with Councilmember Block, Weisensel, Essler and Freske.
Staff present included City Administrator Martin and City Clerk Fasbender.
NEW BUSINESS
2.a. Canvassing Board Oath of Office
City Clerk Fasbender swore in the Canvassing Board.
2.b. Canvass and Certification of results from November 3, 2020 General Election
City Clerk Fasbender presented the voter turnout for the November 3rd Election and declared Heidi
Freske and Jeff Weisensel winners of the two seats for Rosemount City Council.
Motion by Block Second by Essler
Motion to declare Heidi Freske and Jeff Weisensel winners of the November 3, 2020 City of
Rosemount General Election.
Ayes: Weisensel, Block, Droste, Essler, Freske
Nays: None. Motion carried.
2.c. CARES Act Final Allocation of Funds
City Administrator Martin presented the final allocation of the CARES Act funds.
Motion by Weisensel Second by Block
Motion to authorize allocation of the final allotment of CARES Act funds, as presented
Ayes: Block, Droste, Essler, Freske, Weisensel
Nays: None. Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no other items before the Council, Mayor Droste made a motion second by Block to
adjourn the meeting at 8:26 a.m.
