BACKGROUND
Perkins and Will held a Commercial Site Visioning Joint Session on January 19th, 2020. At the meeting, the
consultants provided enhanced designs addressing many of the comments from the December meeting. The
January Joint Session was limited to Site 2 (145th Street) and Sites 3/4 (Akon and Country Road 42). This
was the final opportunity for comments and feedback to be incorporated into the renderings for Sites 2, 3,
and 4. Members of the City Council, Port Authority, and Planning Commission used the Joint Session place
comments/sticky notes on each of the site plans.
The remaining sites, Site 1 (Israelson Site) and Site 5 (Highway 52), will be discussed at the February joint
meeting and the group will have conduct the final Miro activity. Site 1 has already been approved by the City
with an approved PUD Master Development Plan. Concept plans will be made virtually accessible via the
Miro application. Tonight’s joint session will be the final opportunity to make comments and provide
feedback before Perkins and Will assembles final renderings for all five the of the commercial sites.
RECOMMENDATION
Discuss any issues regarding the final concept plans for Sites 1 and 5 and provide feedback to Perkins and
Will.
