CALL TO ORDER: Eliason called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. 2. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None 3. APPROVAL OF THE October 22, 2018 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES: MOTION by Speich to approve the minutes of the October 22, 2018 meeting. SECOND by McDonald. Ayes: 6 Nays: 0 Motion passed. 4. AUDIENCE INPUT: None 5. DISCUSSION: None 6. OLD BUSINESS: a. Freedom Walk of America MOTION by Farrell not to take over the coordination of this project through its completion. Commission recommends not proceeding with FWOA as planned, but to look at the intent and use of the area as part of future Central Park improvements. SECOND by Tilson. Ayes: 7 Nays: 0 Motion passed. b. Parks and Recreation Fees MOTION by Farrell to recommend the City Council approve the 2019 Parks and Recreation Fees. SECOND by Nelson. Ayes: 7 Nays: 0 Motion passed. 7. NEW BUSINESS: a. Director's Report Park Improvement Fund Balance as of October 31, 2018: $914,539.07 Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows: Dedication fees — $3400 Grants/Other - $0 Interest - $401.84 Donations - $0 Expenditures - $196,878.42 (Horseshoe Lake Park and UMore Dugouts) Eagle Scout Project - Read Stanton constructed three new tee pads at Brockway Park disc golf course. Playground Removal - Playground at Schwarz Pond Park was removed on October 9. Fall Clean Up - Fall Clean Up was held on October 6 th. Up 66 from last year for a total of 282 vehicles. Winter/Spring Brochure - Redesigned brochure will hit mailboxes the week of December 3ra. Refurbished Playground Equipment — Photos of donated Connemara Park playground equipment in place at a school in the Dominican Republic. Horseshoe Lake Park — Development is moving along. 8. ADJOURNMENT - MOTION by Bartz to adjourn the meeting. SECOND by McDonald. Ayes: 7 Nays: 0 Motion passed.
