BACKGROUND Staff has continued to make progress on the Council’s vision of an indoor recreation center in the past number of months. Discussions with possible private sector partners continue, and concerted effort has been made, with preliminary offers being drafted, on a site acquisition in the central part of Rosemount. Before additional progress is made, staff would like to update Council on the progress to date and receive any feedback. Formal action is expected on a near-term Council agenda to include review of a land purchase agreement and operational agreements. RECOMMENDATION Staff requests the City Council receive an update on the status of the indoor recreation center project and provide any needed feedback.
