HomeMy WebLinkAbout20210216 Regular Meeting ProceedingsROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS FEBRUARY 16, 2021 CALL TO ORDER Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in Rosemount Council Chambers 2875 145th Street West and virtually via Zoom. Mayor Droste called the meeting to order with Council member Block, Essler, Weisensel, and Freske attending. Staff present included the following; • City Administrator Martin • Community Development Director Lindquist The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. APPROVAL OF AGENDA City Administrator Martin noted the addition of item 6. i. Consider Contract with Criminal Prosecution Firm Campbell Knutson Motion by Weisensel Second by Freske Motion to Adopt the Agenda as presented. Ayes: 5. Nays: None. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None CONSENT AGENDA Motion by Weisensel Second by Essler Motion to approve consent agenda a. Bills Listing b. Minutes of the January 12. 2021 Goal Setting Special Work Session Proceedings c. Minutes of the February 2 2021 Work Session Proceedings d. Minutes of the February 2 2021 Regular Meeting Proceedings e. Budget Assignments f. Renewal of the Max Steininger, Inc. Small Scale Mineral Extraction Permit for 2021. (20- 63-ME) g. Receive Bids and Award Contract - Jaycee and Connemara Park Irrigation Projects h. Consider Resolution of Support for Legislation regarding Infrastructure Development Fees i. Consider Contract with Criminal Prosecution Firm Campbell Knutson Ayes: Weisensel, Block, Droste, Essler, Freske Nays: None. Motion carried. ROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS FEBRUARY 16, 2021 ANNOUNCEMENTS 10.a. Staff Updates Community Development Director Lindquist provided an update regarding the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the SKB Rosemount Industrial Waste Facility. The EAW is being distributed for a 30-day review and comment period. The EAW will be posted on the city website and staff will inform the public once the public can begin reviewing and submitting comments. 10.b. Upcoming Community Calendar Mayor Droste reviewed the calendar of events and upcoming meetings. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the City Council at the regular council meeting and upon a motion by Droste and a second by Block the meeting was adjourned at 7:07 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Erin Fasbender City Clerk
