BACKGROUND
Perkins and Will completed the final Commercial Site Visioning Joint Session on February 16th, 2021. As
this was the final meeting, the consultants incorporated remaining feedback into the final design for the 5
site locations.
The last step in the process is a presentation on the final rendering site plans and visuals. Each of the final
drawings incorporates the visioning ideas from the Joint Sessions, recognizing recent Comprehensive Plan
changes and sprinkled with market realties. Site 1 has already been approved by the City with an approved
PUD Master Development Plan. The final product includes renderings and a narrative for each site that can
be used for marketing efforts and outreach to Rosemount residents.
Staff is also moving forward with an additional service from Perkins and Will, which is a video of the
renderings at the Akron intersection. This will be made available to the Council in summer 2021.
