RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Appoint the Following Individuals to the Youth
Commission:

Calli Maskel
Katherine Meyers
Sakshi Mohanty
Olivia Pemberton
Kate Reed

Meera Thiagarajan

BACKGROUND
The City Council received applications from 16 Rosemount residents interested in and willing to serve as
members on the Youth Commission. One of the current youth commissioners has reapplied to serve on
the next commission. That Commissioner is eligible to be reappointed. According to the Commission
bylaws, the term shall run between the May Annual meetings of each year.
On April 22nd, the City Council held a Meet & Greet for those interested in serving on the commission.
Staff and Council found the caliber of talent and enthusiasm of the applicants very encouraging and we
look forward to working with this group of young leaders.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the above-stated motion to appoint the commissioners.
