ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: LJM RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve a “Rosemount Tobacco, LLC” DBA “Rosemount Tobacco & Vape Center” effective immediately and through December 31, 2021. BACKGROUND The City has received an application for a new tobacco license for “Rosemount Tobacco, LLC” DBA “Rosemount Tobacco & Vape Center” located at 14883 South Robert Trail. The license would be effective immediately and go through December 31, 2021, as it is a biannual license. The Police Department conducted a background check on the applicants investigating any criminal history, law enforcement contacts and court records all which showed no convictions that would disqualify the applicant from obtaining a license. Applicants are required to and have submitted proof of insurance, license fees, a description of their tobacco training program, and the necessary local and state paperwork for the application. The application is in order and may be approved by the City Council. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends approval of the Tobacco License for “Rosemount Tobacco, LLC” DBA “Rosemount Tobacco & Vape Center” located at 14883 South Robert Trail.
