REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS
June 1, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held
on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in Rosemount Council Chambers 2875 145th Street West
and virtually via Zoom.
Mayor Droste called the meeting toorder with Council member Block, Essler, Weisensel, and
Freske attending. Staff present included the following;
City Administrator Martin
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion by Weisensel Second by Block
Motion to Adopt the Agenda as presented.
Ayes: 5.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS AND ACHKNOWLEDGEMENTS
3.a. Presentation and Acceptance of 2020 Comprehensive Financial Report
City Administrator Martin introduced Aaron Nielsen ofMontague, Karnowski, Radosevich, & Co.,
P.A. (MMKR) whom presented a PowerPoint of the City ofRosemount’sAudited 2020
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
Motion by Essler Second by: Block
Motion to adopt a resolution accepting the 2020 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
Ayes: Weisensel, Block, Droste, Essler, Freske
Nays: None. Motion carried.

Councilmember Block pulled this item torecognize the firefighters appointed.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
10.a. Staff Updates
City Administrator provided the following update that Jeff May, Finance Director has retired, and a
new finance director will be starting at the end of June.
10.b. Upcoming Community Calendar
Mayor Droste reviewed the calendar of events and upcoming meetings.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council at the regular council meeting and
upon amotion byDroste and a second by Essler the meeting was adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
