BACKGROUND
The City of Rosemount has been utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for over 15 years. GIS
Coordinator Menza will give an overview of the City’s current system and will provide examples of how
the different city departments are utilizing this technology.
Additionally, the task force will receive a demonstration of the City’s new Citizen Problem Reporter,
which will allow citizens to communicate concerns and problems directly with City staff, through a GIS-
based application.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending that the task force provides feedback on the Citizen Problem Reporter.
