DISCUSSION
The Technology Task Force was created in 2021 to help inform City Council and staff on technology
options to improve city operations and quality of life in the City of Rosemount. The Task Force has
expressed an interest in exploring programs, policies, and regulations that would encourage adoption of
electric vehicles as a mode of transportation in the City. The Task Force is hoping to form a partnership
with the Environment and Sustainability Commission to explore the issue. A partnership on electric
vehicle programs would fit in with Goals 2 and 5 adopted by the ESC for 2021.

SUMMARY
Recommend approval of a partnership with the Technology Task Force on electric vehicle programs.
Appoint Environment & Sustainability Commission liaisons for the partnership.
