REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
April 20, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the meeting of the Environment & Sustainability
Commission of the City of Rosemount was called to order on April 20, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. via Go To
Meeting.
Attendees included: Commission Chair Kim Ciresi, Vice-Chair Victoria Schlautman and
Commissioners Katie Koch-Laveen, Erin Delaney, Kristen Andrews, and Taylor Sutton.
Commissioners Renee Burman and Tina Angerer was absent.
Staff present included the following;
- Public Works Director/City Engineer Erickson and Stormwater Specialist Byron

3.a. Issuance of Oath – Taylor Sutton
Public Works Director/City Engineer administered oath.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by Koch-Laveen Second by Schlautman
Motion to approve the minutes of the March 16, 2021 Environment and Sustainability
Commission meeting
Ayes: 6.
Nays: 0. Motion carried.
PRESENTATIONS
OLD BUSINESS
6.a. Education & Outreach Calendar
Commissioners coordinated schedules, topics, and supplies for the upcoming community events.
Commissioners and staff discussed ideas and updates for the outreach/blog calendar.
6.b. 2021 Goals Progress Reports
Commissioners and staff discussed the commission’s goals. Commissioner provided updates on
their progress and what their next steps are.
6.c. Promotion of the Rosemount Stormwater Rebate Program
Stormwater Specialist Byron provided an update to the Commissioners that staff is working on
making additions to the website and updating information sheets to hand out at the Home &
Business Expo.
NEW BUSINESS
7.a. Environment & Sustainability Commission Webpage Discussion
Commissioners will look at other websites and then will connect with staff their ideas before the
May meeting.
