REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
March 10, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the meeting of the Technology Task Force of the City of
Rosemount was called to order on March 10, 2021 at 6:39 p.m. in Room 200/201 in the Steeple
Center at 14375 S Robert Trail, Rosemount.
Attendees included Task Force Members: Mohammad Khan, Furhath Arnob, Joe Duffy (virtually),
Tony Hall, Steve Thoennes, Robert Kidwell, and Samuel Mwangi.
Staff present included the following;
• GIS Analyst Aaron Menza
• City Administrator Logan Martin
• Community Development Director Kim Lindquist
City Council present included the following;
• Councilmember Heidi Freske
• Councilmember Jeff Weisensel

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by Smith Second by Duffy
Motion to approve the minutes of the February 10, 2021 Technology Task Force meeting.
Ayes: 7
Nays: 0. Motion carried.
DISCSUSSION
4.a Project Brainstorming
Taskforce members brainstormed the future of the taskforce discussing internal workflows, public
facing projects and community projects. The taskforce agreed that one of the first projects the
taskforce would like to pursue is updating the website for content, functionality and design.
Other items discussed; the tools available to communicate to residents i.e. city events, athletic
events, RAAC, etc. in one calendar, status updates of public works completing resident’s concerns,
the future and need for smart meters and ability to share future development projects.
At the next meeting, the taskforce will be asked to formally approve the projects and then prioritize
the projects. Also, Mr. Menza will ask members to appoint a chairperson. The future meetings will
be held virtually until further direction.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the taskforce at the regular Technology Taskforce
meeting and upon a motion the meeting unanimously was adjourned at 8:18 p.m.
