REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
JULY 20, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the meeting of the Environment & Sustainability
Commission of the City of Rosemount was called to order on July 20, 2021, at 5:45 p.m. in the
Conference Room, City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount.
Attendees included: Commission Chair Kim Ciresi, Vice-Chair Victoria Schlautman and
Commissioners Renee Burman and Erin Delaney. Commissioners Katie Koch-Laveen, Kristen
Andrews, Tina Angerer, and Taylor Sutton were absent.
Staff present included the following;
- Public Works Director/City Engineer Erickson and Stormwater Specialist Byron
Stormwater Specialist Byron stated that there was no quorum and that the Commission would not
vote on any agenda items until the August 17th meeting.
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commission did not note on the minutes of the June 15, 2021 and June 29, 2021 Environment and
Sustainability Commission meetings due to not having quorum. Items postponed until August 17,
2021.
PRESENTATIONS
OLD BUSINESS
5.a. Education & Outreach Calendar
Commissioners discussed upcoming blog posts and the file formats for submittals.
Commissioners briefly reviewed the Leprechaun Days staffing schedule and booth material.
5.b. 2021 Goals Progress Reports
Stormwater Specialist Byron updated the commission that progress reports will be presented at a
future meeting to see where goals are at. Commissioners were advised to start their reports on goals
progress.
Commissioner Delaney requested that commissions work together on events and goals. Stormwater
Specialist advised that the commission should have a specific topic or event to focus on with
another commission(s).
5.c. Environment & Sustainability Commission Webpage Discussion
Item was not discussed.
NEW BUSINESS
6.a. Partnership with Technology Task Force on Electric Vehicle Programs
Item was postponed until August 17, 2021 due to lack of quorum.
