DISCUSSION
The ESC Outreach & Education for 2021 were approved at the December Commission Meeting. Some
outreach items have been assigned to specific commissioners for completion, such as some of the blog
posts. The intent of this item is to review the calendar for updates and share ideas. Highlights are below:
1. August blog post – keeping bees – benefits, regulations, safety, and native plants
2. August blog post – cleaning your cupboards and donating food from the garden
3. September blog post – Leaves, composting & winterizing your yard
4. Holidays/events of note
a. September 18 – Food Truck Festival
5. Pick up your new shirts & nametags
