ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: LJM RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discussion Item Only BACKGROUND Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is defined as any information that permits the identity of an individual to be directly or indirectly inferred. PII can include social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial or medical records, criminal histories, e-mail addresses, etc. The City’s IT Coordinator, Jayson Solberg, will be available for a discussion on what types of PII the City maintains, how that data is secured, and other web/network security items. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the task force discusses current City PII and network security practices.
