RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive presentation from Hope Fieldhouse and consider the
opportunity
BACKGROUND
Staff received contact from the team at Hope Fieldhouse regarding an opportunity to further support the
organization. We have had initial conversations with their team and understand the request centers around
the City providing funds that would allow Rosemount residents to not have to pay initiation fees to join
the club. This practice has not occurred at the preexisting private fitness operators, so the Council should
consider the precedent created if the City were to approve the request.
Staff from Hope Fieldhouse will be on hand to discuss the proposal and provide further detail.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Council receive a presentation from Hope Fieldhouse and provide further direction.
