DISCUSSION
The ESC Outreach & Education for 2021 were approved at the December Commission Meeting. Some
outreach items have been assigned to specific commissioners for completion, such as some of the blog
posts. The intent of this item is to review the calendar for updates and share ideas. Highlights are below:
1. August blog post – cleaning your cupboards and donating food from the garden
a. Submitted – publication on hold
2. September blog post – resident survey through September 30
a. City Polco account
3. September blog post – Leaves, composting & winterizing your yard – Kim Ciresi
4. October blog post – Halloween related recycling: candy wrappers, plastic films, etc.

5. October blog post – Radon Testing Your Home as You Close Things Up for Winter
6. Holidays/events of note
a. October 2 – Fall Cleanup & Shred Event
