RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a Resolution approving an amendment to
Thompson’s Fireside Pizza II Inc. DBA Fireside On Sale Liquor License Class B/Sunday
Liquor Sales Liquor License
BACKGROUND
The ownership of the Thompson’s Fireside Pizza II Inc. DBA Fireside is to change to owner Kim Ziegler.
Currently, Richard Thompson and Kim Ziegler are both owners/officers listed on the liquor license. The
two owners have finalized an agreement of the ownership change effective September 28, 2021. The new
licensee name shall be MikZigs Hospitality, Inc.
City Code requires council approval in the event of a change of ownership of a licensed liquor
establishment. Being that Kim Ziegler is currently listed on the liquor license, no background check was
conducted. Mr. Ziegler has submitted proof of insurance, necessary fees and the paperwork for the
amendment.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the above-stated motion.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE (CLASS B) AND SPECIAL SUNDAY LIQUOR
LICENSE FOR THOMPSON’S FIRESIDE PIZZA II INC. DBA FIRESIDE
WHEREAS, Kim Ziegler of Thompson’s Fireside Pizza II Inc. DBA Fireside has submitted a
request to amend its current On-Sale Liquor License (Class B) and Special Sunday Liquor License
for the premise located 3410 150th Street West;
WHEREAS, the request is to remove the owner Richard Thompson to Kim Ziegler as the owner
on the liquor license;
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted all necessary documentation and payment for the Liquor
License Amendment;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby approves this amendment to
said license.
ADOPTED this 21st day of September, 2021, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
