RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to change the November 2, 2021 Work Session
and Regular City Council Meeting to November 1, 2021 starting at 5:00 p.m.
BACKGROUND
Independent School District 196 will be holding board elections on November 2, 2021. Minnesota
Statute require that no public meetings be held between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
Therefore, staff requests the work session and regular council meeting on November 2nd be moved
to Monday, November 1st starting at 5:00 p.m.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the motion above.
2021 CITY COUNCIL MEETING CALENDAR
Regular City Council meetings will be held generally on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall in the Council Chamber. Work
Session meetings will be the first Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. Meetings outside of this normal schedule are
highlighted in red below.
The Rosemount City Council may at times schedule additional Special Meetings or Work Sessions to address timely city business. These meetings will be posted
on the City Hall Message Board in accordance with Minnesota Open Meeting Law, as well as on the City’s website.
