RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve receiving the following donation:
$40,000 from the Rosemount Area Athletic Association towards the cost of batting cages at
UMore & Shannon Park.
BACKGROUND
The Rosemount Area Athletic Association has been a good partner of the City’s for many years. Staff
recently worked with them to discuss future projects, and batting cages were raised as a desired item. As
such, we have a $40,000 donation from the Rosemount Area Athletic Association towards the cost of
batting cages at UMore & Shannon Park.
The City thanks them very much for this kind donation.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council receive the donation listed above.
