ATTACHMENTS: Draft Calendar APPROVED BY: BLE RECOMMENDED ACTION: Discussion DISCUSSION The Environment and Sustainability Commission (ESC) will briefly lay out a number of education and outreach tasks they would like to implement through the end of 2022. Some outreach items will be assigned to specific commissioners for completion, such as some of the blog posts. The intent of this item is to review the calendar for updates and share ideas. Staff will add current events to calendar as staff is made aware of them. Highlights for December 2021 and January 2022 are below: 1. December blog post – Radon Testing Your Home as You Close Things Up for Winter – Tina a. Recommend moving this blog to January for National Radon Acton Month 2. December blog post – Smart Salting tips for homeowners – Jane a. Recommended change 3. Holidays/events of note a. Various seasonal celebrations that occur in December and January – too many to list 4. City Council “Out & About” events a.
