RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the receipt and distribution of 10 $100
Walmart gift cards from Pine Bend Paving to be given out by officers to community
members in need
BACKGROUND
The Police Equipment Fund has been set up for the purpose of receiving donations that are designated for
the Police Department. Expenditures from this account are only made after approval is received from the
City Council.
Pine Bend Paving donated 10 $100 gift cards with a note that stated:
Merry Christmas
Please have your officers distribute these cards to those in need in your community. We appreciate all you do and
want to share our good year with your residents!
The Department appreciates this significant act of generosity and will distribute these cards as needs arise.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council approve the receipt and distribution of 10 $100 Walmart gift cards to be given
out by officers to community members in need.
