Motion to fill Commission vacancies with the following appointments:
Sharry Angell for a 3-year term on the Parks and Recreation Commission;
Michael Eliason reappoint for a 3-year term on the Parks and Recreation Commission;
Scott McDonald reappoint for a 3-year term on the Parks and Recreation Commission;
Brenda Rivera reappoint for a 3-year term on the Planning Commission;
Tina Angerer reappoint for a 3-year term on the Environment & Sustainability Commission;
Renee Burman reappoint for a 3-year term on the Environment & Sustainability Commission
BACKGROUND
Each year the City Council appoints commissioners to various city boards. This year, the following
positions were open for appointment; three seats on the Parks and Recreation Commission, one seat on
the Utility Commission, two seats on the Planning Commission, and three seats on Environment &
Sustainability Commission and one youth seat on the Environment & Sustainability Commission.
A number of skilled residents applied for these seats, and we greatly appreciate the interest shown by
residents to serve the community.
The following seats remain open for residents to apply for if interested; one seat on Planning Commission,
one seat on Utility Commission, one seat on Environment & Sustainability Commission and one youth
seat on the Environment & Sustainability Commission.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of above motion.
