BACKGROUND
At its March meeting, the Technology Task Force discussed the need to revisit and reprioritize its project
list. Potential projects that were discussed included:
Digitize all city services
Video Surveillance/Security
Fire Sensors connected to the Fire Department
Occupancy sensors
Increased communication between city and residents
Increased resident participation in the budget process
Promote the use of the Citizen Issue Reporter
IT security policies
Technology purchasing policies
City mobile application
Open data initiative
Assistance for low-income internet access
