National Volunteer Week is April 17 – 23 and each year the City of Rosemount recognizes and thanks the
hardworking and dedicated volunteers who lend their time and expertise.
Our wonderful volunteers do all sorts of things within the community to shape a better future for
Rosemount. We rely heavily on these individuals and groups to perform many important tasks that City
staff cannot perform on their own. Our Volunteer Engagement Manager Diane Erickson helps match
people to opportunities in many areas which may include:
Police Reserves and Chaplains
Rosemount Fire Explorers
Rosemount Area Seniors Board
Leprechaun Days and the Haunted Woods Trail
Rosemount Area Arts Council
Wetlands and Bluebird Box Monitoring and Maintenance
Adopt-a-Park and Adopt-a-Street
Office Support and Document Scanning
Gardening and Landscape Maintenance
Technology Task Force
Rosemount City Council and staff honored our current volunteers at an appreciation event held here at
City Hall before this evening’s meeting. For those who couldn’t attend the event, thank you goodie bags
are available to be picked up at the front counter of City Hall through Friday, April 22 during regular
business hours.
