ISSUE
The City recently received quotes for site and landscape improvements at the skate park located in
Schwarz Pond Park. There were five contractors who provided good quotes to the City for the project (see
attached list below). Staff would like to discuss with the Commission the landscape package and moving
forward with some of the improvements in that package.

BACKGROUND
The landscape improvements for the skate park include plantings, stone work, and boulder seating areas as
shown in the attached plan.
RECOMMENDATION
The recommendation for this item will be developed after the Commission discusses the merits of the
project.
