RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Appoint the Following Individuals to the Youth
Commission:

BACKGROUND
The City Council received applications from 19 Rosemount residents interested in and willing to serve as
members on the Youth Commission. Included in this count are 8 current youth commissioners who have
reapplied to serve on the next commission and are eligible to be reappointed. According to the
Commission bylaws, the term shall run between the May Annual meetings of each year.
On April 19th, the City Council held a Meet & Greet for those interested in serving on the commission.
Staff and Council found the caliber of talent and enthusiasm of the applicants very encouraging and we
look forward to working with this group of young leaders.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the above-stated motion to appoint the commissioners.
