1. CALL TO ORDER: Eliason called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
2. ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE AGENDA: Item 6.a. – attachment/Park

3. APPROVE MEETING MINUTES: January 24, 2022
Approved by DeBettignies, Second by Young. Ayes: 6 Nays: 0
4. AUDIENCE INPUT: None
5. DISCUSSION (Response to Audience Input): None
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
a. City Code – Park Rules: Staff shared recommended changes to the Park Rules and received
feedback from the commissioners. Staff will bring final recommendations back to the next
meeting in March.
7. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Flint Hills Park Building – Bids: MOTION by DeBettignies to accept the lowest bidder, use
an additional $100,000 from the Park Improvement fund and to ask Dakota County for additional
funds. SECOND by Schaap. Ayes: 7 Nays: 0 Motion passed.
b. Director’s Report
Park Improvement Fund Balance as of January 31, 2021: $3,497,464.17
Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows:
Dedication fees – $0
Grants/Other - $0
Interest - $1048.46
Donations - $0
Expenditures - $0
8. ADJOURNMENT - MOTION by DeBettignies to adjourn the meeting. SECOND by Bonkoski.
Ayes: 7 Nays: 0 Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
