ROSEMOUNT YOUTH COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS
March 17, 2021
1. CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Rosemount Youth Commission was
held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 3:49 p.m. via Zoom.
Chairperson J. Kenninger called the meeting to order with Youth Commissioners Halla, Henkemeyer,
A. Kenninger, Leholm, Passeri and Ramesh were present. Assistant City Administrator Emmy Foster,
Council Member Jeff Weisensel and former Councilmember Kim Shoe-Corrigan were also present.
Commissioners Bauman, Chumbley, Nozal, Standing and Stenger and Recording Secretary Sandi
Amundson were absent.
2. ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA
None
Motion by J. Kenninger. Second by Rames
Motion to Adopt the Agenda.
Ayes: 7
Nays: 0. Absent: 5. Motion carried.
3. AUDIENCE INPUT
None
4. CONSENT AGENDA
Motion by J. Kenninger. Second by Leholm
Motion to approve the Consent Agenda.
Ayes: 7
Nays: 0. Absent: 5. Motion carried.
5. OLD BUSINESS
None
6. NEW BUSINESS
a. Youth Commission Alumni Panel
Former Youth Commissioners Maisy Armstrong, Sydney Narloch, and Jaren Yambing
talked with the group. They answered questions and offered insight into their years and
experiences after high school.
b. Leadership Lesson
Councilmember Weisensel discussed this month’s Leadership Lesson and the topic was
“Who’s Got the Power?”. The group discussed their thoughts on the lesson. Weisensel
requested that the Youth Commissioners submit their worksheet write-ups to him.
c. Roundtable Discussion
Youth Commission members shared their activities including work, spring break, sports,
dance, cheer and college plans.

a. Commission Member Reports
None
b. Next Meeting Date – Next meeting date will be April 28, 2021 at 3:45 p.m. This meeting will
be virtual.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, it was moved by J. Kenninger and seconded by Passeri
that the meeting be adjourned. The motion carried unanimously, and the meeting was adjourned at
4:45 p.m.
