Park Improvement Fund Balance as of April 30, 2022: $3,841,452.78 Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows: Dedication fees – $0 Grants/Other - $0 Interest - $3,515.21 Donations - $0 Expenditures – $17,248.50 (Dunmore Park Design, Flint Hills Building Fees and Skate Park Site Improvements) Arbor Day – Our 30th annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway was held on Saturday, April 30th at the Public Works garage on Brazil Ave. It was a rainy day, so we moved the event inside the garage. Even with the rain, we were able to give away all 150 trees to Rosemount residents in a very efficient manner. City Wide Garage Sale - The citywide garage sale that is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation department was held on May 12th through the 14th. We had 42 sales register with us and were locally publicized. Spring Clean Up - The spring cleanup event coordinated by the Parks and Recreation department will take place on Saturday, May 21st at the east side of DCTC near their baseball field. The event runs from 8:00 am until 12 noon and is open to only Rosemount residents. There will also be a paper shredding drop area that is sponsored by Michelle Hoagland Realty as part of the clean-up day.
