Arbor Day – Our 30th annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway was held on Saturday, April 30th at the Public
Works garage on Brazil Ave. It was a rainy day, so we moved the event inside the garage. Even with the
rain, we were able to give away all 150 trees to Rosemount residents in a very efficient manner.
City Wide Garage Sale - The citywide garage sale that is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation
department was held on May 12th through the 14th. We had 42 sales register with us and were locally
publicized.
Spring Clean Up - The spring cleanup event coordinated by the Parks and Recreation department will
take place on Saturday, May 21st at the east side of DCTC near their baseball field. The event runs from
8:00 am until 12 noon and is open to only Rosemount residents. There will also be a paper shredding drop
area that is sponsored by Michelle Hoagland Realty as part of the clean-up day.
