RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:
Motion to fill Commission vacancies with the following appointment:
• Eric Johnson appoint for a 3-year term on the Environment & Sustainability Commission
BACKGROUND
Each year the City Council appoints commissioners to various city boards. This year, appointments were
made on April 5, 2022 and a vacancy remained on the Environment & Sustainability Commission.
Eric Johnson applied for this seat and met for an interview with Logan Martin, Brian Erickson and Mayor
Droste. We greatly appreciate the interest shown by Eric to serve the community and believe he will be a
great addition to the commission.
The following seats remain open for residents to apply for if interested; one seat on Planning Commission,
one seat on Utility Commission and one youth seat on the Environment & Sustainability Commission.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of above motion.
