Issued to OMNI Brewing Company LLC to Hold an event on July 26th at 2990 145th Street
West
BACKGROUND
OMNI Brewing Company LLC submitted a request for a Temporary On-Sale Liquor License at 2990 145th
Street West. The purpose of the request is to hold a Leprechaun Days event in the parking lot.
Rosemount City Code, 3-1-12, “The city council may issue to a brewer who meets the qualifications in
Minnesota statutes 340A.404, subdivision 10, paragraph (c), a temporary license for the on-sale of
intoxicating liquor in connection with a social event within the municipality sponsored by the brewer.”
The brewer must manufacture fewer than 3,500 barrels of malt liquor in a year in order to qualify for this
temporary on-sale license. The event has to be within the municipality, not that the brewer itself must be
located here.
Staff recommends approval of the temporary license as requested by OMNI Brewing Company LLC to
hold an event on July 26, 20222 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The host of the event has submitted a special
event application that has been reviewed and approved by staff and Rosemount Chief of Police.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of a Temporary Liquor License to OMNI Brewing Company LLC for an
event on July 26, 2022.
