RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution to Accept Meadow Ridge 2nd Addition, City
Project 2018-20, Public Improvements for Perpetual Maintenance.
BACKGROUND
Public improvements installed as part of Meadow Ridge 2nd Addition, City Project 2018-20, included
streets, sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer during the 2019/2020 construction season with the
bituminous wear course paved in 2020.
The developer requested final acceptance of the public improvements. At this time, some final
administrative items are required; however, that will not preclude final acceptance of these improvements.
WSB & Associates, Inc., the City’s inspector for the project, submitted a letter on June 16, 2022 that
indicates all work is in alignment with the specifications and standards, and recommends acceptance of the
public improvements.
RECOMMENDATION
Upon City acceptance of the work, the public improvements constructed in Meadow Ridge 2nd Addition,
City Project 2018-20, shall become City property per the subdivision agreement. Staff recommends that
City Council adopt the resolution accepting the improvements for perpetual maintenance.

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
FOR MEADOW RIDGE 2ND ADDITION
CITY PROJECT 2018-20
WHEREAS, the Developer has requested City acceptance of the public improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the Developer is preparing final administrative requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City received a letter from WSB & Associates, Inc. confirming the public
improvements were installed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and finds the
improvements acceptable.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota. The work completed
under said agreement is hereby accepted for perpetual maintenance and ownership pending provision of
final administrative requirements.
ADOPTED this 21st day of June, 2022.

The City of Rosemount is in the process of closing out and accepting the street and utility
improvements for Meadow Ridge 2nd Addition, Street and Utility Construction Project.
The improvements consisted of sanitary sewer extension, watermain extension, storm sewer
improvements and street construction of Amiens Avenue and Ardroe Avenue within the Meadow
Ridge 2nd Addition single family residential subdivision. The 29-lot development was proposed by
Lennar and designed by Pioneer Engineering Company, Inc. The improvements were designed
by Pioneer Engineering and inspected by WSB in accordance with the City’s Standard
Specifications and Engineering Guidelines. The public improvements were constructed by
Nodland Inc. from May 2019 to August 2020.
WSB recommends approval and acceptance of the street and utility improvements.
