RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive update from design team and discuss next steps
BACKGROUND
The initial processes leading to the development of the Police & Public Works Campus continue, as staff
has completed tours of facilities, completed equipment / personnel inventories, and bi-weekly meetings
with the design team. A detailed budget has been completed and refined, and the project team is prepared
to discuss budget and scope options with the City Council.
As expected, several outside forces (global economy, inflation, updated growth trajectory of the City, etc.)
have had a significant impact on the project’s budget. We have completed 3 project scope options along
with budget & tax impacts, and the project team will present those options in great detail at the work
session.
RECOMMENDATION
No action needed. Receive the update from staff and consultants and discuss next steps.
