ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, Acceptance Letter, Map APPROVED BY: LJM RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution to Accept Harmony Parkview 1st Addition, City Project 2018-11, Public Improvements for Perpetual Maintenance. BACKGROUND Public improvements installed as part of Harmony Parkview 1st Addition, City Project 2018-11, included sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer during the 2018/2019 construction season. The developer requested final acceptance of the public improvements. At this time, some final administrative items are required; however, that will not preclude final acceptance of these improvements. WSB & Associates, Inc., the City’s inspector for the project, submitted a letter on June 21, 2022 that indicates all work is in alignment with the specifications and standards, and recommends acceptance of the public improvements. RECOMMENDATION Upon City acceptance of the work, the public improvements constructed in Harmony Parkview 1st Addition, City Project 2018-11, shall become City property per the subdivision agreement. Staff recommends that City Council adopt the resolution accepting the improvements for perpetual maintenance. CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2022 – 84 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FOR HARMONY PARKVIEW 1ST ADDITION CITY PROJECT 2018-11 WHEREAS, the Developer has requested City acceptance of the public improvements; and, WHEREAS, the Developer is preparing final administrative requirements; and, WHEREAS, the City received a letter from WSB & Associates, Inc. confirming the public improvements were installed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and finds the improvements acceptable. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota. The work completed under said agreement is hereby accepted for perpetual maintenance and ownership pending provision of final administrative requirements. ADOPTED this 5th day of July, 2022. The improvements consisted of sanitary sewer extension, watermain extension, storm sewer improvements and private street construction of 137th Street West, Parkview Path and Harmony Court within the Harmony Parkview townhouse residential subdivision. The 22-unit development was proposed by Timbercrest, LLC and designed by James R. Hill, Inc. The improvements were designed by James R. Hill, Inc. and inspected by WSB in accordance with the City’s Standard Specifications and Engineering Guidelines. The public utility improvements were constructed by Friedges Inc. from May 2018 to August 2021. WSB recommends approval and acceptance of the utility improvements.
