2001 Annual Interim Use Permit (IUP) Fee
Dear Mr. Burt:
This intent of this letter is to inform you that we did not place any aluminum trihydrate or
bauxite residuals into our spent bauxite disposal facility during the year 2001. Therefore no
fees are due in accordance with the 1991 IUP issued by the City of Rosemount. A table
summarizing the 2001 aluminum trihydrate (ATH) generation is also attached.
We have also closed and decommissioned the Alum plant that originally produced the waste
stream that went into the disposal facility.
Please note that we have changed our name to from Koch Petroleum Group, LP to Flint Hills
Resources, LP. This is a change in name only and does not reflect any ownership change.

Enclosed are two copies of the 2001 Annual Report for Flint Hills Resources' Spent Bauxite Disposal Facility.
Submittal of this report is in accordance with Part.3.6 of our permit #SW -226), which was issued on December
1 2, 1996. Please note that the 4 Quarter Operational Report was submitted separately. Please note that as of
January I, 2002 Koch Petroleum Group L.P.s name has been changed to Flint Hills Resources, L.P.
